Aunt Jennifer's hands were trembling while etching the tigers on the panels. The ordeals of married life had made her timid and fearful. The wedding band that she was wearing on her hand was a symbol of her difficult married life. It was a burden and hindrance for her. It hindered her from using the ivory needles properly for designing the tigers on the panel.
