in your ncert solution of bank reconciliation statement q.no.9,,point 1

"a cheque of rs. 400 drawn on his saving a/c has been shown on current a/c"

is it cheque issued or cheque received, because in ur solution u hv given wrongly credited to current a/c(shouldn't it b referred to as wrongly debited to current a/c)

"Cheque Drawn on savings account" means cheque has been issued from savings account, " Has been shown on current account" implies that it has been wrongly credited to current account. This adjustment means that we have wrongly credited Rs.400 to current account which was not to be done . Since it has not been specified anything about whose current account was maintained, it is assumed to be current account of Passbook.
