Hey mate, your answer is as follows :-
As the mirror is convex, so
U = -30
F = -20
H = 1 cm
From mirror formula we get,
---> 1/u + 1/v = 1/f
---> 1/v = 1/f - 1/u
---> 1/v = 1/-20 - 1/-30
---> 1/v = 1/-20 + 1/30
---> 1/v = -3/60 + 2/60
---> 1/v = -1/60
---> v = -60
Position of image ---> The negative sign in image distance (v) indicates that the image is formed at a distance of 60 cm on the left side of the mirror from the pole.
---> M = H'/H = -v/u
---> H'/1 = -(-60/-30)
---> H'/1 = -(2)
---> H' = -2
Size of image ---> It is 2 cm in height, means it is of double the size of the object.
Nature of image ---> Negative sign in image height (H') indicates that the image formed is real and inverted.
Hope it helped !
And don't forget to hit thumbs up if it really helped !
Thanks and Regards !
