Experts why both statements are incorrect?

Dear Student,

There are three parts of the small intestine:

  1. Duodenum: It is the first part of the small intestine where breakdown of food occurs with the help of enzymes.
  2. Jejunum: Jejunum is the next portion of the small intestine and it has a lining which is specialized in the absorption of  carbohydrates and proteins.
  3. Ileum: Ileum is the last portion of the small intestine and it is responsible for absorption of fats, and bile salts which are a component of bile.

Now, the Assertion is incorrect because among the different regions of small intestine, jejunum is the main site of digestion.
Also, the Reason is incorrect because the ileum is the longest part of the small intestine with maximum number of villi.
