Experts why is this compound not named as 2-butanone?

As we know that we while writing the iupac name of any compound we have to mention the position of any substituent / side group/functional group just before its prefix or the suffix name . So, according to the same rule the name is Butan-2-one. As here the position of the ketone group (2nd carbon atom) is mentioned before its suffix name (-One) .
