Explain briefly how the volume of an irregular shape can be found using a eureka can and a measuring cylinder answer

Eureka can is a science equipment that uses liquid displacement method to measure the volume of a solid object.

The eureka can is filled to the top with water and the object placed in it. Then the the volume of the object is equal to the volume of the water that is forced through the spout.The water is collected in a measuring cylinder which directly gives the volume of irregular solid.
