Explain briefly the relationship between developmental and social psychology. (chapter 1 'What is Psychology?'; Humanities)

a, There exist a crucial relationship between developmental Psychology and social Psychology
b. Developmental Psychology basically deals with studying changes in human behaviour throughout one's life span
c. Social Psychology deals with social factors  and how our behaviour is impacted and influenced by others
d. The relationship between the two can be understood in the context that one's behaviour with changes in a life span is largely impacted and determined by social pressures.
e. Our behaviours, mental processes may undergo a change depending on the  influence exercised by people around us, by peer groups.
f. For instance a child with troubled childhood , may  have extreme behavioural traits, he is likely to become more aggressive or timid in nature.
