Explain clearly the indirect employment by the government

Indirect employment refers to the process of employment generation in other sectors of an economy due to the forward linkages associated with the process of direct employment generation by the government. For instance, if a coal company owned by the government decides to raise its output, this will directly lead to an increase in the employment (this is called direct employment). Now, as the output of coal increases, other industries which use coal as an input may also decide to raise their output. This in turn will again result in rise in employment. This process of employment generation by the government is called Indirect Employment.
