.  Explain how land and sea breeze originate. in brief

Dear student,

During the day, land heats  up more quickly than the sea making the land hotter  than the sea.  So, the air above the land  becomes warm and rises. As, this warm air rises, the pressure becomes low and a vacuum is created above the land. As a result, the air above the sea, which is cooler, forms  a higher pressure  compared to the air above the land.  As,  winds blow  from high pressure to low pressure, the air above the sea  refills the vacuum above the land and  a sea breeze is formed.

At night, the opposite happens.. The sea loses heat more slowly than the land, this makes sea  warmer than land. Air above the sea is warm and rises. When this warm air rises, the pressure becomes low and a vacuum is created above the sea. So, the air above the land, which is cooler, develops  a higher pressure than the air above the sea. As winds move from high pressure to low pressure, the air above the land moves to fill the vacuum above the sea creating a land breeze.

Regards.
