Explain how we get cotton fibres from the cotton plant?

The cotton fibers are obtained from the fruit of the cotton plant called cotton bolls which burst after maturing. The cotton fibers are harvested either through handpicking or by modern machines. The seeds are separated from the cotton fibers later.
