in a simple pendulum
the time period of the pendulum is given as
T = 2pi root(l/g)
where T is the time period of the pendulum , l is the
length of pendulum and g is the acceleration due to
gravity
Since g is the constant on the surface of earth we have l
as the only variable parameter Thus time period depends on length
of the pendulum
