Locomotion is the movement of living organisms from one place to another place in search of food or shelter.

Types:

Aerial locomotion: It includes flying, Ex: bats, birds etc.
Arboreal locomotion: It includes those organisms that live in and can move on trees. Ex: Leopard.
Aquatic locomotion: It includes movement on water: Ex: Fish, duck etc.
Cursorial locomotion: Includes terrestrial animals those are adapted to move and run. Ex: Cheetah, wolves etc.
