Answer A - The system of binomial nomenclature was introduced by Carolus Linnaeus.
Two conventions-
1. The Genus name should begin with a capital letter and specific epithet should be written in small letters.
2. The name of a species should be underlined when written with hand or italicised in typing.
Example - Homo sapiens
Here Homo is the name of the genus. sapiens is the specific epithet.
