Explain 'natural ecosystem'. Why is any attempt to tamper with the ecosystem fraught with grave risks ?
- The term ecosystem refers to the biological system consisting of all the living organisms or biotic components in a particular area and the nonliving or abiotic component with which the organisms interact, such as air, mineral soil, water and sunlight.
Ways to manage the ecosystem are as follows:
1)ecosystem services,
2)pollution control
3)managing land cover
4) afforestation
