Explain Newton first law of motion with examples

Newton's first law of motion:
An object continues to be in the state of rest or uniform motion until and unless an external unbalanced force acts on it. This is also known as the law of inertia.
Ex: A football lying on the floor remains at rest till anyone kicks it off or shakes it off.
Heavier tha mass more is the force required to move the ball. It is easy to move a tennis ball than a heavy iron ball.
