Explain non-narcotic and narcotic analgesics with an example of each.

Following is the difference between narcotic and non-narcotic analgesic

Narcotic analgesics	Non-narcotic analgesics
These are derieved from opium and related products	These are the pain relievers not derieved from opoium
Theses lead to habit formation or addiction	These do not cause any depenedence
These act on Central nervous system	These act on peripheral nervous system

Examples of narcotic analgeiscs - morphine , codeine 
non-narcotic analgesics - Acetaminophen, aspirin
