Explain the agriculture development.
Why do people participate in decision- making?

I have the doubt please clarify

Dear student,

Here are the answers:

1) Agricultural development is defined with the help of continuous rise in the overall production of the agricultural products, constant rise in the farmers' income, rise in the productivity and rise in the yield per hectare. Besides these parameters, agricultural development is also measured with the help of extent to which modern techniques and tools are employed in the agriculture sector. Thus, all in all, we can say agricultural development encompasses the improvement in all the aforementioned parameters. It can be achieved through use of latest machinery, use of high yielding varieties of seeds, improving irrigation facilities, availability of transport and market along with cold storage facilities etc.

2. The citizen of India participate in the decision making of the government in an indirect manner. The citizens above the age of 18 years can vote in elections.  By voting they are choosing a responsible government that can take care of their needs.  A government that is formed is responsible for its citizens. This government make policies and decisions on behalf of the citizens.  Thus participation of people is necessary in decision making.
