Substances which directly converts from solid-state to vapour form are said to undergo the process of sublimation. Such substances have high vapour pressure which forces the molecules to directly go into the atmosphere and exist as vapour in the air rather than in liquid form. the material which undergoes this process is called Sublimate, one example of the Sublimate is solid Ammonium Chloride.
