Explain the features of administration in the Mauryan Empire
During Mauryan times, the empire was divided into 4 provinces, Tazila, Ujjain, Suvarnagiri and Tosali. Each of which was headed by a governor, known as Kumara. He was assisted by Mahamatyas and a council of ministers.
