Explain the formation of sound wave in air.

Sound is produced when a Source Vibrates . Thus when the source vibrates , it makes its adjacent particles to vibrate to and fro . Thus the air particles start vibrating ,which in turn pass energy to the adjacent Molecules. This chain keeps going and A sound wave is produced in the Air.
