Explain the location ,structure and function of areolar tissue .

Adipose tissue is found around muscles, blood vessels and nerves. it is  a loose and cellular connective tissue. its matrix contains two kinds of fibres: 1. white collagen fibres
          2. yellow elastic fibres or elastin.

its functions are: 1. it acts as a supporting and packaging tissue between organ lying in body cavity.
                         2. it helps in repair of tissues after an injury.
                         3. it also helps in combating(killing) foreign toxins.
                         4. it fixes skin to underlying muscles.

Areolar Tissue is simple and typical connective tissue having semifluid jelly-like matrix, white collagen, and reticular fibres, mast cells, and plasma cells.

Location :- Areolar tissue occurs inside organs, around blood vessels, muscles, and nerves,below the skin and joining carious structures like muscles with skin..

Functions :- [1] It provides packing materials in various organs.
[2] It binds various structures.
[3] It provides covering over nerves, muscles and blood vessels.
[4] It provides materials for repair of injury.
