explain the meaning of the line 'and therefore could not be'.how does it relate to the end of the childhood?it is very urgent pls someone ans....

The line ' and therefore could not be ' refers to the phase where the child has grown up and began to understand everything . HE now can distinguish between truth and myth. he now knows that there are no such place as hell and heaven. As the reason behind is they could not be found in geographybooks or any map. therefore they do not exist . These are all manmade perceptions.
IT relates to the end of childhood since the child is now able to make difference between what is true and correct and what is not.
