explain the poem `the ball poem`with reference to context

Dear Student

This poem is about loosing something you love and learning to grow up. A little boy has lost one of his much beloved possessions- his ball. For the little boy the ball was very precious and cannot be replaced by any other thing.
In this poem the boy's ball personifies his young days and innocence which gets lost while he is growing up and can never get it back. The boy looses his ball and can never get it back and his love attached to his ball cannot be replaced any other thing.
In order to achieve certain things in our life too we loose what we love. But, despite this, we need to earn to be strong and stand up again no matter how much it hurts. This is the way we learn to survive, we learn to accept and let go.

Regards
