When water evaporates into the atmosphere it condenses to form water droplets, these water droplets  further join to become clouds. As these water droplets get heavier they fall down back on earth by the process of precipitation, in the form of drizzle, rain, hail, snow etc. then the water reaches the water bodies directly or indirectly and then again evaporates. This continuous cycle of nature is known as water cycle.
