Explain the response initiated when a dose of vaccine is introduced into human body

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

Vaccination may be defined as the protection of the body from communicable diseases by the administration of some agents that mimic the antigen/microbe. The agent can be a suspension of killed or attenuated microbes, or a substance that mimics the disease-causing microbes/ antigens. So our body produces antibodies against these microbes/ antigens which are introduced in the form of a vaccine. These antibodies fight against antigens or germs and make a memory of these in the immune cells. These memory cells help in eliminating the antigen the next time it attacks the person.
