When the research started and the issue of scanning the mummies came up, King Tut's mummy was the first mummy to be scanned. Even in his lifetime, he was the youngest as well as the the best and most famous ruler of Egypt to have died and been formed into a mummy. Thus, the line indicates that he was always ahead of most of the people of his time, both during his lifetime as well as after death.
