Nano-particles are prepared using the two methods as: Top-down approach and Bottom-up approach.
In the top-down approach the bulk material is "cut away" or "broken down" into nano-sized particles or nano-particles. In other words, the top-down approach is one where the building blocks are removed from the substrate to form the nano-particle.
