explain urine formation & ultra filtration, collidal osmotic pressure, hydrostatic pressure?

Ultrafiltration- filtration of any liquid under tremendous pressure is called Ultrafiltration. When blood passes from affrent arteriole having large diameter to an effrent arteriole having smaller diameter, a pressure is built up in the glomerular capillaries. Under the influence of this hydrostatic pressure, all the substances in the blood that can pass through the capillary walls get filtered out.

The kidneys filter unwanted substances from the blood and produce urine to excrete them. There are three main steps of urine formation: glomerular filtration, reabsorption, and secretion. These processes ensure that only waste and excess water are removed from the body.

A simple procedure called "low pressure" ultrafiltration permits the clarification and disinfection of water in a single step. A membrane barrier acts like a filter for all particles over 10-20 nm in size: pollen, algae, bacteria, viruses, germs and organic molecules.

Oncotic pressure, or colloid osmotic pressure, is a form of osmotic pressure exerted by proteins, notably albumin, in a blood vessel's plasma that usually tends to pull water into the circulatory system. It is the opposing force to capillary filtration pressure and interstitial colloidal osmotic pressure.

Hydrostatic pressure is the pressure that is exerted by a fluid at equilibrium at a given point within the fluid, due to the force of gravity. Hydrostatic pressure increases in proportion to depth measured from the surface because of the increasing weight of fluid exerting downward force from above.
