It can be explained in many ways like:
In a system where many professions are adopted by the people such as shopkeepers,vendors,goldsmiths etc.They all earn their livelihood when customers as I are available without any buyer they won't be able to continue their living.
The other part can be discussed in the corruption context as living a life in the corrupted system is always tough for a common man because in such a system one is not able to get equal treatment in many walks of life.
