Given : Standard form of a rational number is $\frac{4}{5}$ Let the rational number be $\frac{4 x}{5 x}$ Also, sum of its numerator and denominator is 27 â‡’ 4x + 5x = 27 â‡’ 9x = 27 â‡’ x = $\frac{27}{9}$ = 3 Hence, the required rational number is $\frac{4 \times 3}{5 \times 3} = \frac{12}{15}$
