if ap starts from 2 then the ans is 26

 First find the first term then use this formula :  
 4th term = (L-(a+(n-1)d).                       L is last term

we must first reverse he ap.. so it becomes 35,32,29.. apply formula.. n the answer comes as 26....

a=2 , d= 3, an=35

an = a+(n-1)d
35 = 2+(n-1)3
35-2 = (n-1)3
33/3 = (n-1)
n=12

The fourth term from the last will be 9th term
a9= a+8d
= 2+8(3)
= 2+24
a9 = 2.
