Find the actual capacity of vessel as shown in the figure if the radius of the base is 3.5 cm and height of cylindrical part is 6cm

volume of vessel = pie r2h
                            = 22/7 * (3.5)2 * 6
                          = 23100cm3

the vessel has a bump at the bottom thus its volume decreases
actual volume of vessel is= real volume - volume of bump
                                          = pi rh - 2/3 pi r3
                                           = pi r2(h-2/3r)
                                           = pi r2 ( 6 - 2/3  X  3.5)
                                           = 22/7 * 3.5 * 3.5 * 3.7
                                           = 142.45 cm3
