As both the circles touches each other at a single point so the sum of the diameters of both the circles must be =14
therefore radius of each circle =7/2cm
ar square abcd=14*14=19
ar of 4 circles =4*22/7*3.5*3.5
=154
ar shaded region=area of square-ar of 4 circles
=196-154=42 square cm
