Find the cost of levelling a ground in the form of a triangle with sides 16m, 12m and 20m at the rate of Rs 20 per sq.metre

Let a = 16 m; b = 12 m; c = 20 mNow, semi perimeter, s = a+b+c2 = 16+12+202 = 482 = 24 mNow, area of  = ss-as-bs-c = 2424-1624-1224-20 = 24×8×12×4 = 96 m2cost of levelling 1m2 area = Rs 96Cost of levelling 96 m2 area = Rs 96 ×20 = Rs 1920

a = 16 m
b = 12 m
c = 20 m
AREA=
S = a + b +c /2
Area = root of (S  ( S- a ) (S - b) ( S - c )

S  = 16 + 12 + 20 /2
S =  24

Area
=root of ( 24 ( 24 - 16 ) (24 - 12 ) (24 - 20 ))
= root of ( 24 * 8 * 12 * 4)
= root of 9216
= 96 m sq

Cost = 96 * 20
= Rs.1920

The area of the triangular ground 96 m sq  and  the cost is Rs.1920
