Find the largest positive integer that wil divide 1385, 1457 and 1628 leaving 5,2 and 8 respectively.

1385 - 5 = 1380

1457 - 2 = 1455

1628 - 8 = 1620

HCF of 1380,1455,1620  =15

Therefore 15 is the largest positive integer that will divide 1385 , 1457 , 1628 remainders 5 , 2 , 8....

1385 -5 = 1380

1457 - 2 = 1455

1628 - 8 = 1680

and now find the the hcf of the numbers  which we got,

ie, hcf of 1380,1455,1620

ie, 5 x 3 =15

therefore, 15 is the largest positive number  that divides ..............
