Find the PH value of the following substances. Also find the colour they will get when dipped In PH Paper :

Lime Water ,
Orange Juice ,
Solution Of Baking Powder ,
Milk ,
Water.

Dear Student, 

pH of lime water is 12.4. It change the colour of red litmus to blue indicating its basic.
pH of orange juice is 3.5. Orange juice contains citric acid and when pH paper is dipped in its solution, its colour changes from Blue to Red because of the presence of this acid.
pH of solution of baking powder is 8.3. The solution pf baking powder should turn red litmus paper blue.
pH of milk is 6.9. It turns the pH paper pink.
pH of pure water is 7. It shows no change in colour of pH paper.
