find the quadratic polynomial whose zeros are 2 and -6.verify the relation between the coefficients and the zeros of the polynomial

 The relation for quadratic polynomial is given by

k{ x2 - ( sum of zeros )x + ( product of zeros )}

It implies x2 - (2-6)x + 2 (-6)

It implies x2+4x-12

Now the sum of the zeros = 2-6 = -4 = -Coefficient of x/ Coefficient of x2

and the product of the zeros = 2 (-6) = -12 = Constant term / Coefficient of x2

Thumbs up.
