find the values of x nd y :-

(5x-3y , y-3x)= (4 , -4)

5x - 3y = 4 ---------(1)

-3x + y = -4 ---------(2)

We multiply (1) with 1 and (2) with 3 and thus we get,

5x - 3y = 4

-9x + 3y = -12

on adding we get,

- 4x = -8

thus, x = 2

and y = 2
