Five ways of waste disposal are :

1. Incineration -which means  burning of waste
2. Sewage Treatment- it includes treating the waste material and then discarding it in rivers or using treated water for irrigation etc.
3. Preparation of compost- Biodegradable waste can be converted in compost which can be then used as manure in the fields.
4. Landfill - The waste material is dumped under the ground.
5. Recycling: It is the method of using the waste into new products .
