The formula for area of sector and perimeter of sector are given respectively as:-
A=$\frac{1}{2}{r}^2\varnothing$ where $\varnothing$ is the angle, measured in radians, subtended by the sector at the centre of the circle.
Similarly, P=$2r+r\varnothing$
Thus on substituting r=1.26 and $\varnothing ={40}^{\circ }={\frac{2\mathrm{\pi }}{9}}^{\subset }$, we get,
A= 0.55 sq m
P=3.4 m
