Let A and B are 2 objects due South and AB = x mLet OL be the tower, OL = 100 mLet ∠OBL = 45°, ∠OAL = 60°
In ∆OLA,tan 60° = OLLA⇒3 = 100LA⇒LA = 1003m = 10033mIn ∆OLB,tan 45° = OLLB⇒1 = 100LB⇒LB = 100 m⇒LA + AB = 100⇒10033 + x = 100⇒x = 100-10033Now, distance between the two objects =100-10033 m
