from a well shuffled pack of playing cards , black kings , black jacks , black aces are removed .

A card is then drawn at a random from a pack .Find the probability of getting

1. a red card

2. not a diamond card

soooooooory

1.E = getting a red card

total no. of outcomes = 46 ( 52 - 2ace - 2kings - 2jacks)

no. of favourable outcomes = 26 ( 13 hearts and 13 diamonds)

P(E) = 26/46 = 13/23

2. E2 = not getting a diamond card

total no. of outcomes = 46

no. of favourable outcomes = 33 ( 46 - 13 diamonds)

P(E2) = 33/46
