Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms .Microscopic organisms mean they can not be seen with naked eyes and microscope is needed. These organisms can be unicellular or multicellular. It includes the study of bacteria, fungi and virus etc Culture, staining, sterilization and  microscopic studies are the major parts of studying microbes and they are essential tools of microbiology. It helps to study effect of microorganisms on other organisms.
