Give a character comparison of the author's grandmother to that of his
grandfather
Lesson:- potrait of a lady

Dear student,

Here is the answer:

1. Grandmother: Grandma is kind and lovable character. She is always seen with a rosary bead in her hand. She takes care of her grandson from his childhood until her death. She helps her grand son in his studies and also feeds the dogs and birds.

She becomes a bit lunatic and starts lying on a bed asking the neighbours to sing the song of home coming warriors. She is an epitome of perfection and sincerity as she never forgets to feed the bread crumbs to the sparrows and to chant her prayers.

2. Grandfather: Khushwant Singh never saw his grandfather. His grandfather's portrait hung above the mantelpiece in the drawing room. He wore a big turban and loose fitting clothes. He had a long, white beard that covered his chest and he looked at least a hundred years old.
