Give a character-sketch of Lencho.(120-150word)
Dear student,
Lencho was the protagonist of the story "The Letter to God". He was a poor farmer who lived in a small house in the valley. His entire livelihood depended on the crops that he produced. He had immense faith in God. Even though all his crops were destroyed due to hailstorms, his unwavering faith in God remained. Instead of complaining to God about his misfortunes, he requested him to send 100 pesos so that he can ride over the rough times. However, he did not have similar faith in humans. After receiving only 70 pesos from the post office, he called them corrupt for stealing his remaining money. Thus, Lencho was a simple, poor farmer who had faith in God but not in humans.
