Acidic salt      NH₄Cl (ammonium chloride), Al₂(SO₄)₃ (aluminium sulphate), These are salts of a strong acid and weak base.
Basic salt        Na₂CO₃ (sodium carbonate),  KNO₂ (potassium nitrite)        These are salts of a weak acid and strong base.
Neutral salt     NaCl (sodium chloride),  K₂SO₄ (potassium sulphate)             These are salts of strong acid and strong base.
