# give an example of two triangles that have equal areas but are not congruent.(mention all the elements of the two triangle)

Example 1 :

$∆$ ABC has base BC = 6 cm and height AD = 4 cm, other sides AB =12 cm, CA = 17 cm.

Area of $∆$ ABC  = = 12 cm2
And

$∆$PQR has base QR = 8 cm and height PM = 3 cm, other sides PQ = 9 cm, RP = 10 cm.

Area of $∆$ PQR = = 12 cm2

Here we can see that Area of $∆$ ABC  = Area of $∆$ PQR  , But both triangles are congruent to each other ( As both have different sides )
