give an example where the displacement of a particle is in the direction perpendicular to a force acting on the particle

1. When   a coolie is carrying load on his head then the displacement of the coolie is perpendicular to the force acting , thus work done would be zero.

2. When  a satellite is revolving around our earth in a circular orbit then it will form a tangent and would form perpendicular angle...

i hope i may have helped you....................
