  1. Health is the metabolic efficiency in a human being. It includes not only physical fitness but also mental and spiritual well being of an individual.
  2. As we know, "A healthy mind resides in a healthy body." So, to attain success, health is to be attained by an individual. Health depends on various factors:
  3.  a) It is important to choose a healthy lifestyle for good health. It includes having a nutritious and a balanced diet, exercise and adequate sleep.
  4. b) Unhealthy diet leads to many physical problems, including obesity.
  5. c) The social environment of the individual consists of the environment around the individual in which he is brought up and lives.
  6. d) The individual's awareness about the importance of good health depends on his education and awareness.
  7. e) The passing on of parents' disorders to their children through the transfer of their genes into an individual also determines a person's health. Many disorders are inherited by individuals from their parents.
  8. Therefore, a healthy individual has better working abilities than an unhealthy individual. 
  9. - A healthy lifestyle gives adequate importance to physical, mental and emotional health.
  10. - It follows a disciplined routine of eating nutritious food, not over-eating!
  11. - Also, leading a healthy life requires mental peace and emotional fulfilment too: meditation and healthy interaction with one's fellow beings provide that.
