As directing contains four elements i.e. Supervision, Motivation, Leadership and Communication. The subordinates need a continuous supervision, motivation by their superiors to complete tasks effectively and efficiently at all levels. All the persons working at different levels also need a leader who can influence them to work for the completion of specific objective. And communication is also required at every level as top level communicates the plans, orders and directions to the middle and lower levels of management who in turn send their feedback, grievances to the top level of management.
